Rock Wren

Description: A common breeder in rocky areas from the foothills west, occasionally to above treeline. Most common in canyon country, especially on the west slope. An uncommon migrant throughout, often seen surprisingly far out onto the plains. Very rare in the winter, mostly in the southeast.
