Prairie Falcon

Description: Uncommon to fairly common resident throughout the state, most common on the eastern plains; often seen at Red Rocks and other foothill cliff nesting areas. As with Ferruginous Hawk, this is a hard species to pin down, and the following spots are only suggestions. Chances are if you drive the plains long enough you will find one.
