Marsh Wren

Description: The distribution of this species in Colorado is enigmatic. Some marshes are dripping with them, while others that would seem suitable are completely empty of them. They are most reliable in the South Platte River valley and the San Luis Valley, but they can also be found in other scattered locations during the summer, and lower elevations during the winter. Most birds vacate the SLV during the winter.
