Hepatic Tanager

Description: A rare and extremely local breeder in southeastern Colorado, found in shady canyons with stands of ponderosa pine. Nearly all sites for this species are innacessible. A vagrant to southeastern Colorado migrant traps, not seen most years except at Chico Basin Ranch.
