Green-tailed Towhee

Description: A fairly common breeder in scrubby areas in the foothills and lower mountains, especially in areas with lots of oak. Generally found at higher elevations than Spotted Towhee, although there is much overlap. An uncommon migrant throughout, less common on the extreme eastern plains.
