Description: Uncommon in extensive sagelands in the northwest quadrant of the state. The best-known leks are along Route 80 near Hayden and at Coalmont in North Park. Outside the lekking season, the best way to see this bird is by driving the refuge road at Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge at dawn or dusk. Driving the road to Harper's Corner in Dinosaur National Monument is also a good bet.
