Great-tailed Grackle

Description: An uncommon to common resident, less common during the winter, in the lowlands of eastern and western Colorado. Breeds in towns on the eastern plains and in large cattail marshes across the state. During the winter the best way to find this species is to search large blackbird flocks, especially at cattle feedlots in southeast Colorado.
