Bohemian Waxwing

Description: A very erratic winter wanderer in the state, mostly in mountain areas and along the Front Range. Absent in some winters. In good years it is often found around some source of berries (e.g., Russian-olives). Bohemian Waxwing is a true rarity on the eastern plains, even in invasion years. Since the occurence of this species is so erratic, and predicting where it will show up just about impossible, no specific locations are given here.
