Black Rosy-Finch
Description: An uncommon to rare winter visitor to the Colorado mountains; at least one is usually present in most large Rosy-Finch flocks. In the western tier of counties this species becomes proportionally more common amid the feeding flocks; areas around Pikes Peak also have a higher density of this species. See the Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch account for more information on winter Rosy-Finch flocks.
