Baltimore Oriole

Description: An uncommon to rare summer resident in extreme eastern Colorado, much more regular in the northeast. Always associated with riparian corridors along the large rivers. Beware the vast hybrid swarm that this species forms with Bullock's Oriole in the state. Many "Baltimore" Orioles in northeast Colorado are actually hybrids. Rare migrant in eastern Colorado, getting rarer the farther west you go.
